This Is/Was A Very Good Aztec Board

I hope all of you take this post for what it is meant to be.  K5 James has left the building for some unknown reason (I am sure it is a very valid reason, who are we to judge).

The Board owner needs to lead and there is no doubt that K5 James was the key to this board, as is evident by his absence.

I think Aztec fans need a good board to visit.  (by the way http://www.aztecstalk.com could still be a great board if people gave it a chance).  

If this post does not bring K5 James back, then nothing will.

Myself and a few of my friends that follow this board are not facebook people.

I know what you mean Rob. I am very active on Facebook, but there is something much cooler about an Aztec Board. It is just all right there for the fans.

Hopefully K5 will come back and continue this board or someone will be able to take it over and keep it going.

Aztecstalk.com has had the same problem. Guy LeDouche owned that board and was the lifeline. Guy was the BEST. So passionate about Aztec Sports and the most fair/even Moderator I have seen in my 17 years on Aztec Boards. It took off quick and then slowed a little. But it was still ok with about 8/9 consistent posters. Then Guy left and it has never been the same. At one time I proposed that board and this board combine for the Aztec Nation. If done at that time, this board (our combined boards) would have blown away Aztec Mesa. Virtually every major Aztec Fan poster would have been on the combined board.

I think that still could happen...If everybody dropped personal vendettas, open the board to all. And Moderate keeping all posts Aztec related and not personal. (and enforce that rule) Can you imagine an Aztec Board that is Moderated correctly and has all the great posters on this Aztecsfight board right now...and then add to it...

Above (along with many on this board currently) are some of the greatest Aztec fans and best Posters in AztecBoard history.

K5 had the passion to do it and hopefully he will find that passion again.

Unfortunately there is a serious "chicken or the egg" problem. I'd post a lot more here, if there were more activity. But since there is so little activity I don't post. I would guess that there are lots of others who feel the same.

Aztec Mesa, with all it's problems, has lots of activity and enough good content to keep me active there.

I have a very limited presence on Facebook. When I tried joining one of the Aztec groups I wasn't able to. Don't really know why I wasn't, but I gave up on trying.
