He has to say that in case they do.

There was some news in that clip. It's the first time I've heard him say they'll work with the City, county and bowls.

So in other words, yes, there have been very specific discussions regarding a stadium and possible MLS partner.

Also, SDSU spending more money on COA than division rivals... possibly close but just shy of Boise $$.

Didn't want to bother listening to the entire thing as I assumed it would be the kind of pablum I would be feeding the media about the stadium situation just about now. But thanks for the info about the COA. A few fans of other schools have said on the MWC board it looked like we were going to act niggardly in that regard so it's good to see that's not the case. As to Boise, I suspect paying a bit less than the Bluefields gives the administration a bit of cover from certain members of the faculty alleging overemphasis on football.

"Niggardly" (noun: "niggard") is an adjective meaning "stingy" or "miserly", perhaps related to the Old Norse verb nigla, which means "to fuss about small matters".[1]
It has nothing to do with the racial epithet.

Thanks, Steve. I assumed everyone here is college educated and accordingly familiar with the word. Of course, there's a saying about "assume."

I only wrote five damn words. Maybe you should reread what I said...you know the part where I defined the word. I guess I shouldn't "assume" everyone here has a grasp on comprehension. And what's worse is you two are dead wrong on this. I don't want to hijack a thread. If you're still having trouble understanding any of this, feel free to PM me. And when we're done you can edit your post and I'll delete this one.

This is a dick response.

Even if he thought the word was the epithet, there is no reason to bring up his education or lack there of.
